The challenge

Meridian ran four clinics with three different websites and a booking process that ended in a phone number. Patients searching for a specific treatment landed on a generic homepage, and reception spent most of its day taking appointments by hand. Nothing ranked for the conditions the clinics actually treated.

What we did

  1. 01

Consolidated four sites into one, with location pages carrying their own opening hours, practitioners, parking notes and directions.

  2. 02

Built a treatment taxonomy so every condition the group treats has a page that explains it plainly and routes to the right practitioner.

  3. 03

Designed a booking flow that asks three questions — treatment, location, time — and confirms in under ninety seconds on a phone.

  4. 04

Implemented MedicalClinic and Service structured data, fixed the crawl issues left by the old sites, and mapped 301s so nothing lost its history.

  5. 05

Added a practitioner directory with real availability, so patients can choose a person rather than a slot.

The outcome

Reception went from taking bookings to preparing for them. Organic traffic now arrives on treatment pages that answer the question people searched for, and books itself.

Our front desk got its afternoons back. Patients find the treatment page, understand what it involves, and book without calling us.
